Detroit Chili is the original Coney Chili used by American Coney Island
and some of the better Coney Islands throughout the city. The chili
is concentrated. Heat it over the stove and add a cup of water and
stir adding more or less water to your own taste.
Onions
Don’t
freeze the onions. If you are not going to eat your Coneys right away,
use the onions for something else and cut up a fresh one when you
do cook them up. 80% of Coney eaters like onions.
Add
mustard or catsup to taste.
